This is a class which is suitable for those who have considerable experience in hand-building and/or throwing skills. The course is 14 weeks in length and offers potters the opportunity for deeper exploration and refinement of skills and technique. Materials are charged at £6 per kg.See Terms and Conditions.

Hand
building
Developing your hand-building skills to make constructions that are precise and well-refined. Use slips, sgraffito and carving methods to finish your work.
Throwing
Develop your basic throwing and turning skills - move on to making bowls, throwing “off-the-hump” and working with lids.
Glazing
Learn the fundamental components of the chemistry of glazing that generate a unique and beautiful glazed form.
