All Systems Go for New Term

Thank-you for all of the encouraging words and messages from those who have been tracking the progress of this brand new Totnes based ceramics studio on the edge of the river Dart.

Much activity has been happening in the last week as the t’s are crossed and the i’s dotted as we prepare to welcome our first cohort of pottery students next week. This morning was a big moment when The Clay Yard sign made its way from the kiln to the wall in Dart Marine Park. A huge thanks to Marshall Cooper for his excellent technical support.

The following courses start next week. The clay is in, tools scrubbed and brand new wheels ready to be put through their paces.

The enthusiasm and interest in the courses has been awesome and many are fully booked. If you would like to join in, there are still some remaining spaces on a few, it’s not too late to fill those last few spaces. All courses are for 8 weeks and all class sizes are up to 8 people. Throwing classes are for up to 4 people.Book Now.

Private Hire

The studio is available to book exclusively for your friends and family to enjoy a guided pottery experience. You may have a milestone birthday, an activity with visitors, a stag or hen-do or a get-together with old friends. The studio can comfortably fit up to 12 adults and is a beautiful setting for a memorable and fun event.

Wander down to Steamer Quay, Pop In and Say Hi

The studio is open to visitors and if a class is not in progress and you are strolling past please do pop in to say hello. I would be delighted to share with you the wonder of ceramics and joy of working with clay.
