Stronger Roots Crowd Funder

My daughter Emily is the chef with MUD (Manchester Urban Diggers) at Platt Fields Market Garden in the centre of Manchester.

Working with MUD is the “Stronger Roots” project which brings together refugees, asylum seekers and friends. They are 4 days away from a crowd-funder project to raise funds to continue with their provision.

Christmas FEST - 17th November 6.30pm

Lucy Bell along with fellow potters Jess Heard and Tor Tar are running the 2nd Anran ChristmasFEST. I can’t wait to go next Friday and will be at the preview evening. I am offering for auction prize of a pottery experience for 2 at the event. Please do join us there - buy tickets here. It will be a very special evening.

I have been running an instagram competition the prize for which is to win pottery experience for 2 at the yard. In order to win, you have to share the post and tag in a friend in the comments. It’s open all the way until next Friday afternoon.

Pot Pick-up Social - 18th Nov 2 - 4pm

Finally, a reminder that the pot pick-up is on Saturday the 18th November at 2pm. Potters who have been following classes since September are invited to book in and enjoy chatting and exploring each others’ creations. If you have already picked up your pot, bring it back in with you and we can all enjoy your beautiful work.

Please ensure that you have booked your place in order that we can keep an eye on numbers.
